BELMIBeauty guide - Updated on
An Exclusive Beauty SpaceWe could not find that word
Try 'cleansing', 'retinol' or 'sun'. You can also start with our free facial skin analysis.
Choosing your facial
First, get to know your skin
You do not need to know what to book before you arrive. We start with your skin's needs.
How do I know which facial treatment my skin needs?
Start with your goal: cleansing, radiance, hydration or care for signs of ageing. The same facial is not necessarily the best choice for every skin.
At BELMIBeauty in Barajas, you can book a 15-minute camera-based facial skin analysis. We assess the appearance of your skin, listen to what you want and guide you before choosing a treatment.
What does camera-based skin analysis show, and is it free?
The camera helps us observe the appearance of pores, texture, pigmentation and other signs related to hydration. We complement this with a conversation about your skincare and how your skin feels.
The session lasts 15 minutes and is free for a limited time. It is a beauty assessment: it does not diagnose diseases or replace a dermatology consultation.
Can I have a facial if my skin is sensitive or dehydrated?
There may be suitable options, but we need to assess your skin first. Tightness is not the same as irritation, an allergy or a rosacea flare-up.
Tell us which products you use and whether anything stings. If you have inflammation, wounds or persistent discomfort, consult a dermatologist before a facial. We will not choose an intensive treatment just because it promises more results.
How do Remedy and Em' Age differ for the first fine lines?
Remedy is Premium care for early fine lines and skin that needs hydration and support. Em' Age, also Premium, focuses on anti-ageing care, with particular attention to firmness and hydration.
Both last 60 minutes. The choice depends on your skin and your concerns, not on reaching a certain age. Our assessment helps you choose without adding unnecessary treatments.
Cleansing and Hydrofacial
Clean, cared-for skin
Facial cleansing, impurities and questions about session frequency.
What is a Hydrofacial, and how does it differ from a facial cleanse?
The BELMIBeauty Hydrofacial combines advanced technology and facial care to cleanse, exfoliate and hydrate the skin in one 55-minute session.
Unlike an exclusively manual cleanse, it uses specialist equipment to help remove impurities and dead skin cells. This technology is combined with personalised care for clean, soft and radiant skin.
How often should I have a facial cleanse or a Hydrofacial?
There is no fixed frequency that suits every skin. It depends on the build-up of impurities, sensitivity, your home care and how your skin responds after the session.
At BELMIBeauty, we adapt your next visit to that assessment. Before repeating, we want to understand whether your skin needs another cleanse or different care; the goal is not to exfoliate more simply for the sake of it.
Does a facial cleanse remove blackheads and acne?
Facial cleansing can help reduce impurities, but it is not a cure for acne and cannot guarantee that blackheads will not return. Home care matters too.
If you have painful spots, significant inflammation or scarring, consult a dermatologist. Avoid squeezing blemishes yourself: this can increase inflammation and the risk of marks.
Which facial should I choose for teenage skin with blemishes?
Teenager is our 60-minute facial designed for young skin with impurities and imbalances. Its focus is cleansing and respectful skin care.
Before booking, let us know about any diagnosed acne or ongoing medical treatment. Beauty care does not replace treatment for inflammatory acne or justify changing medication.
Vitamin C and Glow
Restore radiance
Dull tone, pigmentation and the differences between our brightening treatments.
What does a vitamin C facial do?
Our Vitamin C facial is a 60-minute beauty programme targeting imperfections, focused on radiance and a more even-looking tone.
Vitamin C is used in cosmetics for its antioxidant action and its role in caring for skin tone. The outcome of a session depends on your skin's condition and is not equivalent to that of every other product containing this ingredient.
Does vitamin C remove facial pigmentation?
It may help improve the appearance of tone, but it does not remove every dark spot or guarantee to erase them in one session. The cause and depth of pigmentation affect the care it needs.
Sun protection helps prevent pigmentation from becoming more pronounced. If a mark is new, changes or concerns you, consult a dermatologist before treating it as a cosmetic imperfection.
Can I have a vitamin C facial in summer? Does it replace sunscreen?
Vitamin C does not replace sunscreen. It is a skincare ingredient; protection from the sun requires suitable sunscreen and measures such as seeking shade.
Before booking a summer facial, tell us about any recent sunburn, sensitivity or plans for prolonged sun exposure. We will consider the complete treatment and your skin, not simply the presence of vitamin C.
How do Vitamin C and Glow differ?
Both focus on brighter-looking skin. Vitamin C is our programme targeting imperfections, focused on radiance and an even tone; Glow focuses on dullness and uneven tone.
Both last 60 minutes, but they are different services. Rather than choosing by name, we help you assess which suits your skin and the products you already use.
Retinol Pro
Thoughtfully chosen anti-ageing care
What to expect from retinol and why your skin's tolerance matters.
What is Retinol Pro for? Is it only for mature skin?
Retinol Pro is our 60-minute anti-ageing, repairing facial care, focused on the signs of time and a renewed appearance.
The choice is not based on age alone. Retinol is used to care for texture, tone and fine lines, but sensitivity and the products you already use affect its suitability. It is not a facial we automatically recommend for everyone.
Can retinol irritate the skin or cause peeling?
Yes. Retinol can cause dryness, redness or peeling, especially on sensitive skin or when combined with too many active ingredients. Irritation does not mean a treatment is working better.
Before booking, tell us whether you already use retinol, acids or dermatological medication. If your skin is irritated, it is better to assess it before adding another active treatment.
Can retinol be used in summer?
The season alone does not determine whether retinol care is suitable. Tolerance, skin condition and expected sun exposure all need to be considered.
Sun protection is especially important with retinol. If you will spend a lot of time outdoors or your skin is sensitised, speak to us before booking; another time or a different treatment may be more suitable.
Can I combine retinol and vitamin C in my facial care?
You do not need to choose just one forever, but it is best not to combine active ingredients or schedule consecutive treatments without assessing the skin. The complete formula, tolerance and your home routine all matter.
At BELMIBeauty, we guide you on which facial to prioritise and how to arrange visits. If you use a prescribed retinoid, consult the prescriber before combining it with beauty procedures; do not stop it on your own.
Exosomes Ionic
Understanding the new care
Clear information that separates cosmetic aims from medical promises.
What are facial exosomes, and what is Exosomes Ionic?
Exosomes are tiny particles involved in communication between cells. In cosmetics, they are incorporated into skincare formulas; not all products using this name are the same.
At BELMIBeauty, Exosomes Ionic is a 60-minute facial focused on regenerating skin care. It combines exosomes and other active ingredients to revitalise the surface and care for its natural barrier. It is a beauty treatment, not treatment for disease.
Depending on the formula, exosomes can be applied manually to the skin or combined with Dermapen-type microneedling, which creates superficial microchannels. The technique must follow the product's instructions and an assessment of the skin.
How many exosome sessions do I need, and when will I see results?
The number of sessions and when changes become noticeable depend on your skin and what you want to improve. We guide you before starting and observe progress, without promising the same outcome for everyone.
We offer four-session courses of Exosomes Ionic, with savings compared with individual sessions. A way to continue regenerating care and work towards gradual improvement, adapting the frequency to your skin's progress.
Which should I choose: Exosomes Ionic, Retinol Pro or Vitamin C?
Vitamin C focuses on radiance and an even tone; Exosomes Ionicon regeneration and care for the natural barrier; and Retinol Proon renewing texture and anti-ageing care. All three last 60 minutes.
The free facial skin analysis helps us choose according to your skin. Would you like to enjoy all three? The Facial Experience Package brings them together in three 60-minute sessions, at separate appointments. A more complete care experience, without having to choose just one.
Radiofrequency and packages
Firmness and combined care
The differences between cleansing, revitalising and improving the appearance of firmness.
What does facial radiofrequency do? Is it a cleanse?
Our facial radiofrequency treatment focuses on firmness and elasticity through controlled heat. At BELMIBeauty, the session lasts 60 minutes.
It is not a facial cleanse: the aim is not to remove impurities, but to work on the appearance of firmer skin. For deep cleansing and hydration, explore Hydrofacial.
How many facial radiofrequency sessions are needed?
The number and frequency of sessions are tailored to your skin's condition and your goal. Improvement may be gradual, so we review your progress together and the care that suits you at each stage.
At BELMIBeauty, we offer courses of facial radiofrequency with savings compared with individual sessions. They allow you to continue treatment and work on firmness gradually, without every skin needing the same number of sessions.
Does facial radiofrequency hurt? When should I ask for advice beforehand?
You may feel warmth and some discomfort. If the sensation is too intense or feels like burning, tell us immediately; it is not something you should endure to get better results.
Before booking, tell us if you are pregnant, have an active skin condition, an implanted medical device or have recently had another procedure. Suitability is checked against the equipment's contraindications and, where appropriate, with your healthcare professional.
What does the Radiant Skin Package include, and how does it differ from Hydrofacial?
The Radiant Skin Package combines Hydrofacial and Radiofrequency in a 90-minute session. It brings together the cleansing and hydration of Hydrofacial with care focused on the appearance of firmness.
An individual Hydrofacial lasts 55 minutes and focuses on deep facial cleansing. The package is listed under Offers and promotions; check its current price and conditions when booking.
Your appointment and aftercare
Before and after your visit
What to know so you can enjoy your moment of care with confidence.
What should I tell you before having a facial treatment?
Tell us about allergies, sensitivity, skin conditions, ongoing medication or any recent procedure. Also let us know if you use retinol, exfoliants or acids at home. A photo of your products can help us guide you.
Do not change prescribed care on your own or start several new active ingredients just before your visit. If your skin needs preparation or the session should be postponed, we will explain the next steps.
Can I have a facial during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Not every facial is suitable at these stages. Retinoids, including cosmetic retinol, should be avoided during pregnancy, so Retinol Pro is not the option to book.
If you are pregnant, trying to conceive or breastfeeding, speak to us before choosing a service and discuss it with your healthcare professional. The treatment name alone is not enough: ingredients and technology matter.
Can I wear makeup, exercise or go in the sun after a facial?
It depends on the treatment and how your skin feels afterwards. There is no single waiting period for all facials: before leaving, ask when to resume makeup, exercise, sauna and your usual active ingredients.
As a starting point, cleanse gently, moisturise and protect your skin from the sun with a broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher. When outdoors, reapply as directed, especially after sweating. Do not push skin that is irritated.
When should I have a facial before a wedding or event?
Plan ahead, especially for your first session or a new active treatment. It is best not to try a facial for the first time on the day of an important event without knowing how your skin responds.
Tell us the date and whether you have had the treatment before. We help you choose a service and allow a reasonable interval based on your sensitivity and planned care, without promising perfect skin on a particular date.
How long does a facial treatment at BELMIBeauty last?
Camera-based skin analysis lasts 15 minutes; Hydrofacial, 55; and facial radiofrequency, 60. Vitamin C, Exosomes Ionic, Retinol Pro, Em' Age, Remedy, Glow and Teenager last 60 minutes each.
The Radiant Skin Package is a combined 90-minute session. The Facial Experience Package includes three 60-minute sessions, at separate appointments.
How much does a facial cost, and where can I find courses and book?
Session prices and availability are shown on Booksy through our booking page. This lets you check the current price before confirming your appointment.
Choose a service to see its price, duration and available times. If you are unsure what to book, start with facial skin analysis or message us: we will help you choose.
Treatment courses are purchased directly at the salon, not booked through Booksy. You can ask us about the conditions before purchasing.
